Debit Cards

With our debit card, you can have your checkbook, cash, and ATM card all rolled into one plastic card. A debit card is an electronic card that you use like a check to make cash purchases or use it as an ATM card to take cash from your account wherever you see the SHAZAM®, VISA®, CIRRUS® or MASTERCARD® symbols.  Visit the Shazam ATM Locator website to find Privileged Status ATMs, which do not charge you a fee to use.

All our debit cards have multiple modes of payment for your convenience.

  • Magnetic stripe: The magnetic stripe contains information that allows you to make electronic transactions.  These are being phased out by the more secure microchip technology, but may be needed at some merchant locations.
  • Chip: The cards use an embedded microchip instead of the magnetic stripe to authenticate payments.  This provides strong transaction security features and other application capabilities not possible with traditional magnetic-stripe cards. Chip cards also are known as EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) cards.
  • Contactless:  Our debit cards are also contactless, which helps you reduce checkout time while minimizing points of contact with others, which reduces health concerns.   The new contactless card utilizes industry-leading NFC (Near Field Communication) to complete transactions ensuring card information is protected.  Just tap your card whenever you see the contactless symbol on the payment terminal to pay.  This is commonly known as Tap-to-Pay.
